Dr Hannah Granville
BDS MSc Clinical Endodontics
Practice Principal
Hannah is an endodontist who has limited her practice exclusively to root canal treatment. She holds a BDS and a Master’s degree in Clinical Endodontics (MSc (Clin) Endodontics), postgraduate training focused specifically on the study and management of complex root canal problems.
Hannah has been accepting referrals from general dentists across Dublin and Ireland since 2016, over ten years of treating the cases that are hardest to treat successfully: retreatment of previously root-filled teeth that have failed or become reinfected, narrow or calcified canals, unusual canal anatomy, cracked tooth cases, and root canal treatment on teeth destined for a crown, bridge, or other high-value restoration.
To manage this level of complexity, her surgery is equipped with a dental operating microscope, a MyRay CBCT scanner for 3D imaging of the root canal system, rotary and reciprocating endodontic instrumentation, and specialist bioceramic materials for repairing perforations. She co-founded South Dublin Dental in 2012.
Referring a patient is straightforward, email or call with the patient’s details and a brief clinical summary, and a written report follows both assessment and treatment. See the Dentist Referrals page for details.
Outside the practice, Hannah enjoys cycling and skiing, and spending time with her husband Alec (also a dentist at the practice) and their two young daughters.
