Your patient stays your patient
We treat referred patients only for the implant treatment you request. They are never booked for hygiene, check-ups or general care with us, and any other treatment need is reported back to you.
How it works
- Send the referral. Email alec@southdublindental.ie or use the form below, with any radiographs. We confirm receipt and contact your patient.
- Consultation, usually within a few days. €50, including any X-rays needed and a written treatment plan with full costs for the patient.
- Digital planning. If your patient goes ahead, we take a CBCT and intraoral scan, plan the implant placement digitally and 3D print a surgical guide.
- Guided implant surgery.
- Restoration, by us or by you.
- Back to you with a full discharge report.
You choose who restores
- Full treatment: Alec places and restores the implant, then returns your patient to you.
- Surgery only: Alec places the implant and returns your patient to you to restore, with full implant and component details.

- Confirmation when we receive your referral
- A short email after the consultation: going ahead or not, and what’s planned
- A short email after surgery
- A discharge report with radiographs, clinical photos and full implant details

Guarantee and aftercare
All our implant work is guaranteed for five years, subject to regular maintenance and individual risk factors; full terms are in each patient’s treatment proposal. Ongoing maintenance stays with you, and Alec is happy to see your patient again if you have any concern about their implant.
